“Red Ruby Da Sleeze,” a new song by Nicki Minaj, has been released.
Rapping, “Who the fuck told bitches they was me now?/ Over the thumping production,” Minaj makes a reference to her Chun-Li persona, which was inspired by the Street Fighter character.
I knew these bitches was slow, I ain’t know these bitches senile/Married a shooter case you n***as tried to breathe loud/Boom your face off, then I tell him cease fire.”
She has also made hints that a “Red Ruby Da Sleeze” video will be released soon.
Uncertainty surrounds whether or not the song will be included on a forthcoming project, but it comes after a year that saw Nicki collaborate with several different musicians on standout songs. She released the songs “Bussin” and “Do We Have a Problem?” in 2022 with Lil Baby, made an appearance on “Blick Blick” with Coi Leray, and achieved her first-ever solo No. 1 with the song “Super Freaky Girl.” She also contributed “Tukoh Taka,” which had lyrics in English, Spanish, and Arabic, to the 2022 FIFA World Cup anthem along with Maluma and Lebanese singer Myriam Fares.
