Steph Curry of the Golden State Warriors will be out again less than a month after he returned to the court following an absence of 11 games due to a partially dislocated left shoulder.
Curry is anticipated to miss “multiple weeks” due to a left leg injury, according to NBA insider Shams Charania, who tweeted the news on Sunday.
More information about Curry’s injury was provided some hours later by Shams, who said that the four-time champion had “partial tears to his superior tibiofibular ligaments and interosseous membrane as well as a contusion in lower left leg.”
After colliding with Dallas player Jaden Hardy in the third quarter of Saturday’s game against the Mavericks, Curry was forced to leave.
As the defending champion Warriors fight to remain in the Western Conference playoff race, Curry is averaging 29.4 points, 6.3 rebounds, and 6.4 assists per game this year.
