Tsitsipas lost a two-set lead to Djokovic in his first major final at the 2021 French Open, but this time in Melbourne, he never stopped chasing the match.
The third seed failed to convert on the few crucial chances he had to put Djokovic in danger, most notably a set point to equal the match at one set apiece.
Djokovic has a record-breaking winning streak of 28 victories in the men’s singles at Melbourne Park, dating back to 2018.
