The Weeknd has released a new music video for the album cut “Is There Someone Else” in honor of the one-year anniversary of the release of his fifth studio album, Dawn FM.
“Is There Someone Else?” is the fifth Dawn FM song to have a music video, and it was directed by Cliqua, the team behind the videos for the singles “Take My Breath,” “Sacrifice,” and “Out of Time.”
Dawn FM, which was released at the beginning of 2022, had production by Max Martin, Matt Cohn, OPN, and Oscar Holter as well as cameos by Jim Carrey, Tyler, the Creator, Lil Wayne, Quincy Jones, and Oneohtrix Point Never.
The Weeknd’s album debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Global 200 list even though it debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 chart, immediately behind Gunna’s DS4Ever. Additionally, Dawn FM broke a record for the most entries by a solo male performer in a single week when 24 of the Toronto musician’s songs debuted on the Billboard chart.
