Walter White from Breaking Bad is making a comeback to television.

Bryan Cranston, an actor, gave fans a preview of his next PopCorners commercial on Wednesday. The image on the post featured the Emmy winner holding a bag of the salty popcorn snack while standing in front of a desert backdrop wearing his recognizable Heisenberg black hat.

Late last month, the company teased the advertisement by posting a shadowy image of Cranston that focused solely on the White Cheddar flavor’s vivid blue box. The bag’s hue and association with the Breaking Bad television show were quickly observed by several Instagram users.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, PopCorner’s first Super Bowl commercial will debut during Super Bowl LVII. Rihanna will perform during the halftime show on February 12 at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona.

Cranston played the chemistry teacher-turned-meth cook Walter White in the five-season drama series Breaking Bad. Cranston received numerous honors for the part, including six Emmys, a few Golden Globes, and several SAG Awards. El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie from 2019 and two episodes of the Breaking Bad spinoff Better Call Saul both had him reprising the role.
