Video for “Rich Spirit” by Kendrick Lamar has been released.
In the video, which was directed by Calmatic, K Dot dances around a desolate house. Its minimalism matches that of the song, which can be found on his Mr. Morale & the Big Steppers album. After “N95” and the short film for “We Cry Together,” starring Taylour Paige, the clip is the third promotional video for the widely lauded project.
The album, which debuted at the top of the Billboard 200 album list, garnered eight Grammy nominations for Kendrick and was followed shortly by the release of the video. He has received nominations for “The Heart Part 5,” Best Rap Album, Best Rap Song, Best Rap Performance, Best Music Video, and Best Melodic Rap Performance in addition to Album of the Year, Record of the Year, and Song of the Year awards.
Kendrick and Martine Rose collaborated on a brand-new apparel line earlier this month. The Compton rapper displays items that he jointly created with Rose and said that getting the chance was something that was on his “bucket list.”
