The music video for “Jimmy Cooks,” which features 21 Savage, has been released by Drake.
Honestly, Nevermind, the Toronto native’s most recent album release, was released back in June and featured the collaboration. The project exclusively features 21’s feature as a guest. In addition to “Jimmy Cooks,” which is a spin on Drizzy’s Jimmy Brooks from Degrassi: The Next Generation, Honestly, Nevermind also debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart.
The new song video also features a tease from Drake and 21 that their collaborative album, Her Loss, will be released the following week on Friday, October 28.
The most recent of many occasions that Drake and 21 have worked together is on the song “Knife Talk” from Drake’s 2021 album Certified Lover Boy. Additionally, they previously released Drake’s song “Sneakin” from 2016, the song “Mr. Right Now” on 21 and Metro Boomin’s 2020 album Savage Mode II, and the song “Issa” with Young Thug, which was made available on SoundCloud in 2017.
