Roger Federer will partner Rafael Nadal for final match of his career

In his final match, Roger Federer will play with Rafael Nadal in the Laver Cup doubles on Friday.

‘I’m not sure if I can handle it all but I’ll try,’ said Federer, 41.

‘This one feels a whole lot different. I’m happy to have him on my team and not playing against him.

‘Playing with Rafa feels really different. To be able to do it one more time, I’m sure it will be wonderful and I’ll try my very best.

‘I’ll enjoy it but it will be very hard.’

At the O2 Arena in London, the two will compete for Team Europe against Jack Sock and Frances Tiafoe of Team World.

Andy Murray of the United Kingdom will play Alex de Minaur in the opening match of the evening session.

The 20-time Grand Slam champion Federer announced last week that he would call it quits during the team tournament, which officially begins on Friday.
