Megan Thee Stallion has been cast in the upcoming She-Hulk: Attorney at Law season of the Marvel Studios show, adding yet another A-list star to the MCU.
The Houston rapper has formally joined the cast of She-Hulk, as reported by New York magazine’s The Cut in a recent interview with Megan. Beginning on August 18, the Disney+ series will run for nine episodes till October 13.
Since Megan avoided making any direct mention of the news, it is unclear what part she will play. The native Texan did, however, talk openly about her recent switch to acting, which happened through a guest role on Starz’s P-Valley earlier this month.
Megan identified Ice Cube and Queen Latifah as sources of inspiration when talking about her aspirations to be an actor.
“When I look at them [Queen Latifah and Ice Cube], it inspires me to take it further than just music,” she explained. “I don’t feel like I’m only going to be an actress—I feel like I’m also going to be a director and I’m also going to be a producer.”
Megan will also be in the upcoming R-rated musical F*cking Identical Twins from A24 in addition to She-Hulk.
