Tom Hardy is recognized for his appearances on our screens in blockbuster films and hit TV series, but for fans of Jiu-Jitsu in Wolverhampton were treated to an in person performance from the BAFTA winner, but not as you’d expect.
This past weekend, he competed in a Jiu-Jitsu tournament, winning the gold medal and adding a sporting victory to his list of accomplishments in the movie industry.
At Aldersley Leisure Village, the REORG Open Jiu-Jitsu Championship was held, and the Legend actor treated spectators to a clinic beforehand.
The 44-year-old represents the REORG Charity as an ambassador. The group assists those with PTSD and despair in learning. Jiu-Jitsu in Brazil.
It’s always interesting to read about these interactions, but often all we get to do is hear about them. Fortunately, footage of Hardy in action has been recorded, so we can see how he performed.
We’re used to seeing Hardy in a variety of roles on our screens, but he frequently portrays gangsters, whether it be in Peaky Blinders or portraying both Ronnie and Reggie at once to portray the life of the infamous Kray Twins.
Thus, even if Jiu-Jitsu is a little different from being a well-known felon, we are accustomed to seeing him win a martial arts competition and completely dominate his opponents.
