Sadio Mane’s amazingly successful time at Liverpool came to an end this summer as he signed a £35 million deal to join Bayern Munich.
The Reds acquired the Senegalese winger in 2016.
He continued to play for the team, making 269 appearances, scoring 120 goals, and helping them win six trophies.
Mane always behaved admirably while playing for the Reds, both on and off the field.
Mane has a reputation for being one of the most modest and kind players in all of football, in addition to his brilliance on the field.
He continued to display his class after leaving Liverpool.
Christian Falk of BILD reported last weekend that Mane had given 150 items to Liverpool employees, ranging from the cleaning lady to the security guard.
Everyone received a handwritten message, a photo of Mane, and a box of chocolates.
Quickly, a picture of the chocolates and the sent-by-Mane portrait surfaced.
