Post Malone and Doja Cat have debuted the music video for their song “I Like You (A Happier Song),” which was released just over a month after it landed within the top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100.
The video starts with Post painting a portrait of a woman before he joins Doja to play in a field of flowers, maintaining the same upbeat tone as the Twelve Carat Toothache single.
“I Like You (A Happier Song),” which peaked at No. 9 on the Billboard Hot 100, became Post’s 11th top 10 hit and Doja Cat’s sixth.
Twelve Carat Toothache, which was released on June 3, debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200, trailing behind Malone’s two prior releases, Beerbongs & Bentleys from 2018 and Hollywood’s Bleeding from 2019, both of which debuted at No. 1. Even so, Posty’s most recent full-length album sold 121,000 album equivalent units in its first week, making it a commercial success.
