“The Highs & The Lows,” a new song by Chance the Rapper and Joey Badass, has been released along with a music video.
The video was directed by Chance and Chicago director Troy Gueno and features the two rappers mobbing out throughout Italy and France during the Venice Biennale in April. The lyrics of the song are also overlaid on the video.
It’s been three years since Chance The Rapper released The Big Day, a 22-song collection that included appearances from Lil Durk, Nicki Minaj, Gucci Mane, Megan Thee Stallion, John Legend, DaBaby, Ari Lennox, Chance’s brother Taylor Bennett, and others. The Big Day, like Chance’s Grammy-winning Coloring Book before it, was a critical and financial triumph for him, debuting at number two on the Billboard 200 with 108,000 album equivalent units sold in its first week.
