This summer, Paul Pogba’s six-year stay at Manchester United will come to an end.
Since joining the club for £80 million in 2016, the Frenchman has made 226 appearances and scored 39 goals.
United made multiple offers to Pogba in order to keep him at the club.
However, the 29-year-old has opted not to extend his stay at the club and will now leave on a free transfer.
This summer, Pogba will star in a new documentary.
‘Pogmentary’ is the title of the documentary, which will be accessible on Amazon Prime starting June 17th.
Pogba and his former agent, Mino Raiola, are shown in the documentary negotiating an offer from Man United for more than £300,000 per week.
They determine that the offer is insufficient, and Pogba even refers to it as “nothing.” The Athletic has a thorough report on the exchange.
Raiola: “Paul, you are in a situation which is very particular,” Raiola tells him. “You have no idea. You have no idea.”
Pogba: “Did Manchester (United) make a second offer?”
Raiola: “Yes. They absolutely want you to stay. For me, the offer doesn’t reflect that. I told them, ‘If you want him to stay, don’t make that offer’. I will make them understand that if they really want you to stay and they want to build a project around you, this time they have to act differently and put the money on the table.”
Pogba: “They’re bluffing. How can you tell a player you absolutely want him and offer him nothing? Never seen that.”
