During the Super Bowl, Draymond Green’s home was reportedly broken into, with $1 million in jewels stolen.

The Golden State Warriors’ Draymond Green spent his Super Bowl Sunday at SoFi Stadium, where he watched the game and the throwback halftime performance. Unfortunately, his home was apparently broken into while he was there.

Green’s house in Los Angeles was reportedly broken into during the Super Bowl, according to TMZ. When he returned home after the event, he learned that his home had been looted and that over $1 million in jewels, watches, and other valuables had been stolen.

Green, 31, hasn’t played in a game since January 5. He’s been dealing with a lower back and disc injury, but the Warriors say he’ll return “sometime after the All-Star break.” His rehabilitation has advanced to “light” on-court activities, which will continue to develop.

Burglaries of athletes’ residences have been reported at major sporting events. The residence of Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Yasiel Puig was broken into during Game 7 of the 2017 World Series. The main difference is that Puig was really playing in the Super Bowl when his home was being broken into, whereas Green was only watching the game.

Green’s robbers allegedly broke in via one of his home’s windows, according to TMZ. No arrests have been made, and the police investigation is still ongoing.
