The trailer for Disney+’s ‘Moon Knight’ series has been revealed

The long-awaited first trailer for Marvel’s Moon Knight series on Disney+ has finally come, as promised.

Oscar Isaac plays Marc Spector, a former US Marine with dissociative identity disorder who transforms into the eponymous superhero. May Calamawy, who was most recently seen in the comedy Together Together and as Dena Hassan in Ramy, and Ethan Hawke also star.

The first trailer shows Isaac as Moon Knight, a complicated Marvel character who initially appeared in the mid-’70s. It also gives us a better look at Hawke’s character, who he previously stated was inspired by Branch Davidians cult leader David Koresh. The ad first aired during Monday’s game between the Arizona Cardinals and the Los Angeles Rams.

The release date for Moon Knight is set for March 30. Jeremy Slater conceived the six-episode miniseries, with Egyptian director Mohamed Diab directing four of the episodes. The other two were directed by Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead, who previously worked together on the sci-fi horror film The Endless.
