The second “Spider-Man: No Way Home” teaser was unveiled to much fanfare on Tuesday by Sony and Marvel. The newest glimpse at Tom Holland’s next adventure as Spider-Man debuted at a fan gathering in a Los Angeles movie theater, filled with Marvel fans anxious to see if the clip will confirm plot elements and suspected cameos by previous “Spider-Man” actors.
Jon Watts, who previously directed the first two “Spider-Man” films of the Holland era, beginning with 2017’s “Spider-Man: Homecoming,” is in charge of the project. The film, which will be released on December 17 by Sony, is part of the growing Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Phase Four rollout. Mary Jane is played by Zendaya, Aunt May is played by Marisa Tomei, Dr. Strange is played by Benedict Cumberbatch, Electro is played by Jamie Foxx, and Doctor Octopus is played by Alfred Molina.
