50 Cent has inked a non-exclusive broadcast deal with Fox after recently producing a number of successful programs for Starz, including the growing Power franchise and Black Mafia Family.
According to Variety, the hip-hop superstar and his production business G-Unit Film & Television have signed a deal under which 50 Cent would provide animated shows, live-action comedy, and scripted dramas. Along with Fif’s brand, they will be televised by the network and created by its in-house Fox Entertainment Studios.
“I am excited to formalize a partnership with Michael Thorn and Fox that will allow G-Unit Film & Television to focus on putting multiple series on Fox, a perfect broadcast destination for G-Unit Film & Television content while our premium, streaming, scripted and non-scripted slates continue to grow in all directions,” 50 said in an official statement.
He also took to Instagram to celebrate the deal, writing, “How’s your day going, mine is going good. Happy Valentine’s Day GLG🚦GreenLightGang i don’t miss 🎯FOX 💣BOOM.”
