The iOS 15.4 beta adds a number of useful improvements, including the option to perform Face ID while wearing a mask and the ability to include the Apple Card widget in the Today view. But what’s the most interesting feature of iOS 15.4? The next generation of emojis has arrived.
There are currently 37 additional pictorial representations in the emoji repertoire, according to Emojipedia. The icons range from a melting face and a snapping hand to a playground slide and a troll, as well as a fading battery and a dotted line face, which were first released by Unicode in September. The update now includes gender-neutral variants of the pregnant person and person with a crown emojis, as well as modifications of existing emoji, such as the famous handshake icon, which now comes in different skintones.
The mirror ball, glass pouring liquid, a nest with eggs, an empty nest, bubbles, a lotus flower, an X-ray, and an index finger pointing at the spectator are all important additions. According to MacRumors, the update would include 112 characters in all.
