The brains behind Kim Kardashian’s Paris robbery has revealed what he’s done with the reality star’s stolen jewelry.
According to excerpts from a French police report, Aomar Ait KIhedache, said that the expensive bling was melted and sold in Antwerp, French newspaper Le Monde claims. “We all made the decision to melt them [down],” he said. “One of the people took care of it. He came back with bars … in all, there had to be 800 and a few grams, which gave an amount of ah … 25,000 or 28,000 [euros], something like that.”
However, there’s one piece of jewelry that hasn’t been tampered with. Kardashian’s 20-carat engaged ring is still intact. The large rock — which is valued at $4 million — is in someone else’s possession. “There is a person who has it … Everyone was afraid to sell, because it’s a stone that’s very easily spotted,” the mastermind behind the theft said.
Khedache, who’s also called “The Old Man,” is one of 10 people who have been charged in connection to Kardashian’s robbery. He’s currently being held in French jail without bail.
